The glacial deposits near Starbuck Minnesota. There is something quite unnatural about the shapes of these “hills” which is what is so fascinating about them – at least for me. Traces left over from a completely different time – formed by forces that are unable to be resisted. A Midwestern equivalent to the Rocky Mountain Ranges…. perhaps. The natural event forming an seemingly unnatural form – the shapes on the land are more akin to exit ramps for an invisible freeway.
