  1. There is the “blur” effect which aesthetically becomes more like the appearance of a painting – but for me the “lens less” nature of a pinhole photo brings it closer to a painting. It is a sort of direct light impression upon the image sensor (DSLR after all) that makes it so for me. Like the effect of paint on canvas / the effect of light on the sensor – unmediated if you will.
